About Amara
Hello! My name is Amara, and I am a Certified Applied Behavior Analysis Technician (ABAT) with a passion for helping children learn, grow, and become more confident in their abilities.
I enjoy teaching because I believe learning should be meaningful, engaging, and adapted to the individual learner. Every child has different strengths, needs, and ways of learning, and I love finding the approach that helps each child make progress.
I want to teach because I find it rewarding to see a child master something they once found difficult, become more independent, and use what they have learned in everyday life. Whether your child needs academic support, early learning, communication support, or help developing better learning habits, I am committed to making each lesson purposeful, supportive, and enjoyable.

My lessons are personalized, engaging, and centered on each learner’s individual needs, strengths, and learning pace. As a Certified Applied Behavior Analysis Technician (ABAT), I use structured teaching strategies, positive reinforcement, prompting, repetition, and practical activities to help children learn with confidence.
I make lessons interactive rather than relying on memorization. Whether your child needs support with academics, communication, attention, early learning, or behavior, I break skills into manageable steps and gradually build independence.
My goal is not simply to help a child complete a lesson, but to help them understand, participate, communicate, and apply what they learn in everyday situations. I also pay close attention to progress and adjust my approach when a strategy is not working.
Every child can learn, but not every child learns in the same way. My role is to discover what works best for your child and create a supportive environment where progress is possible.
