About Marisela
I am a middle school math teacher in the Austin, TX, area. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Mathematics degree from Lamar University in 1989 and I have 19 years of teaching experience. My teaching experience includes all middle school math courses, Algebra I, Algebra II and Geometry.

How I teach will depend on the needs of my students and how I measure a student's success is based on two scales - growth and mastery. I try to get to know my students and from there help them grow their strengths and overcome their challenges....mastery occurs naturally once a trusting respectful relationship has been established.
