Ege is not only a friendly, attentive and patient teacher, she is also very knowledgeable. She has a knack of knowing what it is you need to make progress, will go into body work, musical theory and history, even learning theory if that will help you advance. One thing that really makes her stand out as a teacher, is that I’ve never heard her take the easy route, saying you’re messing up, your hearing is poor, you don’t practice enough- she’ll always see what lies behind any problem you encounter, and have a way to tackle it.
We had to start using Zoom once Corona kicked in, but to my happy surprise our online lessons are extremely useful, and they have actually helped me advance even faster.
