About Catherine
After working as an assistant of the director for several years, I felt it was time to make a career change. As my skills are in communication, organisation and languages, it was obvious that I should become self-employed.
I am a native speaker and have been teaching for 4 years. I have completed two certificated courses: 'Teaching French as a Foreign Language' at basic and advanced levels with the Cavilam Mooc Alliance Français institute. After January 2022 I will also have a basic certificate for 'PDL Language Teaching'. My passion are languages, intuitive painting, art und music.

About the lessons
Bonjour, my method is ... just start speaking right from the beginning. Learn as children do, by listening and simply talking. I'm happy when my students are willing to follow a different path than that used by standard books. How about a bit of slang or some colloquial language? And what about terms of speech, or how do I address a person in a particularly nice way? My teaching thrives on communication.
My teaching method also works wonderfully for people without any previous knowledge. We will playfully learn using everyday situations in context. The fun of learning is always in the foreground.
