About Althea
Teaching singing is my primary focus after 11 years of performing on stage. My identity centers on providing detailed vocal instruction for 403 students. I support performers navigating BFA programs or those seeking growth in vocal health and care.
Instruction covers exam preparation and performance confidence alongside breathing control and diction and articulation. Vibrato control and sight singing are central to my method. I also guide students through warm-up exercises that protect their voice. Helping you find your unique sound remains my priority.

Working together happens in a structured space. Initial meetings start with a diagnostic vocal assessment for every new student.
I use this time to observe your range and technical habits immediately. We then integrate sight singing and vibrato control to build your skills.
My training from Carnegie Mellon School of Drama informs every exercise we perform. You will receive 8 specific techniques to improve your breath and support. This work makes singing feel effortless and free. Real results arrive through consistent and focused practice.
