I’m 18 years old and a student at UCL studying data science. I’ve learnt Carnatic music for 12 years, have performed in various temples and was also given the opportunity to perform in AR Rahmans concert as a part of my school choir.

Having learnt carnatic music for about 12 years, I’m now hoping to pass on what I’ve leant to my students through online lessons. I switched to online lessons with my teacher in 2018 and can confidently say that teaching music online is something I can confidently achieve through my own experience. I am currently preparing for my grade 7 exam. With todays technology, attributes such as talam and shruthi can easily be monitored and recitified by teachers online, and you can learn from the comfort of your own home.
