About Brian
Hi everyone!
My name is Brian, and I’m excited to introduce myself as your next English instructor.
I’ve taught at universities in China, owned my own English school in Japan, and tutored students online from around the world. This global perspective helps me understand the unique challenges learners face and how to help them succeed.
I’m originally from Canada, and I’m proud to bring a friendly, multicultural outlook to every lesson. With over 20 years of experience teaching English across Asia, and North America, I’ve helped students from all backgrounds achieve their language goals—whether for business, academics, or day-to-day conversation.
I believe learning should be fun, interactive, and relevant to your life. My lessons are filled with real-world examples, engaging topics, and practical exercises that build confidence as well as fluency. Whether you’re preparing for IELTS, TOEFL, or just want to improve your business or academic English, I tailor every lesson to your needs.
