Camilo was a real life-saver when my son suddenly decided he'd made a mistake giving up GCSE Physics the previous year. He only had the summer holidays to catch up and convince the school he could get a good enough grade, or they wouldn't enter him for the GCSE. That was where Camilo came in. He established a really good rapport with my son right from the start. I didn't have to lift a finger. They organised everything between them, and my son's grades in the pre-mock test were so good they agreed to enter him for the final exam. With Camilo's ongoing support my son gained a stunning 9 grade in his final GCSE. Camilo even helped and encouraged him with his Add Maths too. I cannot recommend Camilo highly enough!

Camilo has been teaching my son both G.C.S.E and A'level maths as well as some physics.He came to us originally through another teaching platform. Camilo tutored our son in preparation for his Maths GCSE. He has great subject knowledge as well as a passion for Maths, is creative in his thinking and very patient and methodological in his explanations. Camilo was my daughters Maths tutor throughout the run up to her GCSEs in 2019, for around a year in total.

I can highly recommend him as a tutor and my daughter benefitted from regular tutorials with him.

He was flexible and would sometimes help with homework, or nearer exam time go through past papers and helping with especially difficult topics. He was able to explain complex concepts which enabled her to gain in confidence as she got nearer to the actual exams.

He also taught her good exam technique and helped her generally feel much less anxious about the whole process.

He was reliable and punctual and and the end result was she went from being predicted a 4 in the Higher paper to actually achieving a solid grade 6 in her actual exam, which she was delighted with.

Before Camilo, I was struggling to engage with maths and started to under-perform in exams. Camilo helped me for around 2 years and was able to break down the complicated maths into simple understandable steps which I was then able to practise and apply in mocks exam questions he provided. Camilo’s brilliant teaching and ability to make maths an enjoyable experienced allowed me to go from struggling to get a C, to achieving an A in Maths GCSE. Camilo is very accomplished, as a mathematician, as a musician and as a sound engineer. He has much teaching experience, and is relaxed, very focussed and a good listener.

I asked Camilo to start tutoring my daughter when I was told, six weeks before her IGCSE Maths examination, that she had little chance of passing the exam! Camilo worked wonders, he calmed my stressed daughter down and re-instilled her confidence and love of the subject. My daughter achieved a B in her exam and is happily studying for her A levels. I really cannot recommend Camilo and his tutoring methods highly enough.

Camilo tutored my son for 2 years, whilst he was in the middle of his GCSE Maths course. My son was not enjoying maths at school and needed support and inspiration. With Camilo's help he managed to achieve an A* and, to my surprise, even chose to carry on studying Maths to A/S level, where he got an A. Camilo is a very calm and extremely friendly presence, he communicates very well and is always punctual. Without a doubt, having sessions with him has helped my son gain confidence and ability.

Unlike my maths teacher at school, Camilo didnt get stressed when I asked for help when I was stuck. He had an excellent knowledge of the Maths syllabus and he helped me feel more confident. Camilo has greatly increased my ability and enthusiasm for maths and I would not have been able to achieve my GCSE grade 5 without him. His down to earth and chilled teaching style made it very easy to learn from him. Never once was his large knowledge for the subject presented as patronising when explaining topics, instead he was easy to relate to and overall a very patient teacher who I would recommend to all students who are struggling with maths.
