About Una
I graduated from the University of Cambridge with a BA in English and have worked in the publishing industry ever since. I am incredibly passionate about literature and I love to share my expertise and interests with my students.
Aside from my love of literature, I am passionate about the arts and culture and spend my free time at galleries, watching films and I also enjoy learning languages and am proficient in French and learning Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese.
I spend as much time as I can in nature, and I love going on walks outside the city and grow fruit and vegetables in my garden.

I am a friendly and supportive tutor, happy to work with students of all abilities. I hope to share my passion for literature with my students and create personalised lessons to suit the needs and interests of the student. I believe that writing practice is really important, so I use my lessons to work with students to write and critically engage with the material.
Lessons are generally 1 hour per week, but I am happy to adjust to suit the student.
I have tutored for 10 years at different levels - working from children as young as 6 to helping a student during their first year of university. Most of my online tutoring experience is working with secondary school students to prepare for exams in KS3, GCSEs and A-Levels. I have worked with high-achieving students to challenge their abilities as well as students who struggle with reading, writing, and critical analysis.
