About Randolph

I’m a California-credentialed Physical Education teacher with 15 years of experience teaching PE at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. I’ve taught everything from kindergarten movement games to high school fitness conditioning. Safety, inclusion, and positive encouragement are at the heart of my teaching, and I love helping kids who don’t think of themselves as “sporty” build real confidence. I also offer small-group packages for homeschool families.

About the lesson

Every session is planned like a real PE class, not just a workout. I build lessons around physical literacy: movement skills, agility, balance, coordination, teamwork, and lifelong fitness habits, aligned with California PE standards.

A typical 45 to 60 minute lesson:

Warm-up game (like “Traffic Light”: run, bear crawl, then freeze in a balance pose)
Skill and agility work (cone routes, footwork, jump rope, ball skills)
A cooperative game that keeps everyone moving and working together
Cool-down stretch and a quick reflection question

Who the lessons are for: kids and teens from kindergarten through high school, all fitness levels, including children who don’t think of themselves as “sporty.” I also teach small homeschool groups. For mixed ages, I adjust every activity so younger kids build confidence while older kids take on harder versions and leadership roles.

Where: at a local park or your home in the Los Angeles area, or online by webcam (only a small open space and household items are needed).

Your first lesson is a free 30-minute “meet and move” session where we set goals together.

Details

Small groups welcome: add $15/hr for each additional child (siblings or homeschool pod). Online group sessions: add $10/hr per additional screen. Lessons can be 45 or 60 minutes.
