About Candice
Hello! My name is Candice and I am the founder of Cadence Violin Tuition est. 2021. I am based in Queenscliff along the Northern Beaches, NSW.
I am a graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School and I am currently studying a Bachelor of Music Performance at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. I hold AmusA and LmusA qualifications and have won prizes at various national competitions and eisteddfods including Musica Viva’s Strike a Chord chamber music competition.
I have performed with Orchestra Victoria, Geelong Symphony Orchestra and been part of the Australian Chamber Orchestra Academy. I am currently a member of the Australian Youth Orchestra having recently returned from the flagship orchestra’s European tour where we performed at world renowned concert halls including the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam and Musikverein in Vienna before a final performance at the Sydney Opera House.

Mandarin
I teach students at my home music studio and I also travel to students in the nearby areas. I teach all ages and levels with tailored lessons for beginners, intermediate and advanced students. I also prepare students for AMEB exams and incorporate music theory and aural training into our lessons.
I seek to inspire students to develop a passion for music while fostering their progress to reach their full potential. This is done through establishing strong technical foundations and keen musical understanding in every lesson.
