About Michela

I'm a Celta-qualified Business English Trainer. I have a degree in Modern Languages (English and French) and the IH BET Certificate of Teaching Business English. I’m currently studying for a MA in Applied Linguistics and ELT at the University of Nottingham, UK.

Since 2001 I‘ve been been working as a Business English Trainer, GE and IELTS teacher in Finland and China as well as online.

About the lesson

I teach customised online classes using a variety of approaches according to the client’s needs and preferences: communicative, task-based, case studies and more traditional methods. All levels are welcome. I’m a supportive, culturally-sensitive trainer who enjoys sharing her passion for the English Language.

Avrebbe esclamato il personaggio di un famoso film.
Con Michela si può davvero fare: migliorare il proprio inglese con la misura dei nostri passi.
Perché il lavoro più difficile è il suo: adattarsi ogni volta alle esigenze dello studente e fare delle sue debolezze linguistiche argomento di apprendimento.
Competente e professionale, comunicativa, simpatica. Le lezioni scorrono e le nozioni trasmesse rimangono in quel posticino della mente dedicato all’assimilazione.
Non grido né al miracolo né alla fantascienza, però credo di aver scelto benissimo!

Because she is doing the hardest part of the job: adjust herself to the student’s needs and transform linguistic weaknesses into learning topics.
Competent and professional, talkative and very nice. The lessons flow easily and the notions remain in that place of your mind dedicated to the learning.
I will not call for miracle or science fiction, still I think I have chosen the best way!

I studied with Michela in 2001 when she worked for IH Helsinki and delivered Business English classes in the company I worked for. Subsequently I also hired her to teach BE to some of my employees in China. Michela is open, focussed and receptive in her teaching. She plans her classes well beforehand and is therefore well prepared: no idle time occurred in our teaching sessions. Her knowledge of Business English is on a high level and I/we made true progress thanks to the lessons. Another important point is that she can adapt to the students’ different levels. She’s a responsible and competent Business English trainer, especially for people who need to improve their practical use of English in their work life. She has a positive and humble approach to the teaching and her clients. She is a teacher I would hire again and I strongly recommend her.
