About H-L
Hello, My online sessions with students will be largely based on the development of and improvement of conversational English (I am a native speaker). The nuances and subtleties of the English language will be made plain to students, together with a clear explanation of grammar and practice of pronunciation. I believe in adopting a friendly teaching style to help students feel at ease and therefore build their confidence in the 'spoken word' which can undoubtedly be daunting for beginners. Lessons will be tailored to the needs of the pupil and relevant to their particular requirements. My experience thus far has been helping friends improve their conversational English skills. I am now looking forward to putting my qualifications into good use by helping more people gain confidence in speaking English. Classes are held via Skype. University : - The Open University - BA Hons Literature with History [Third] School : Thornhill College GCSEs - English Language [A] - English Literature [A] - French [A] - History [A] - Latin [A] - Religious Studies [A] - Science [B] - Maths [C] Thornhill College AS Levels - English Literature [A] - History [A] - Ancient History [C] - Latin [B] Thornhill College A Levels - English Literature [A] - History [B] - Ancient History [C] - Latin [C] Prizes and Scholarships : Awards received for achievement at GSCE & A Level. Other Qualifications : TEFL certificate & Teaching English Online certificate (scanned copies of these in profile). New CLAIT, ECDL, OCR Word Processing Levels 2 & 3 and a Level 1 Certificate in Book-keeping.
