About Damian

Hello there,

My name is Damian and I graduated with BSc (Hons) in Psychology at the University of West London in 2019 attaining a second-upper class (68%). During my degree programme, I received ‘The Zenobia Nadirshaw Prize in Psychology (second year) and ‘The Mollie Clay scholarship’ (third year) for my academic achievements, attendance, and recommendations from a lecturer and employer. I achieved a first-class mark (72%) on my final dissertation project focusing on ‘Psychopathy level and impulsive behaviour as predictors of Self-reported Executive Functioning’. The course I completed is accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS). I have been passionate about Psychology well before I started my course. I am interested in all aspects of psychology with a particular focus on statistical analysis, history of psychology, neuropsychology & the broken brain, and theories of counselling.

About the lesson

I can assist either current or prospective students with their curriculum at any point of their journey within the field of Psychology. I can help with understanding psychological research procedures in accordance with the BPS code of ethics and conduct. I can also guide you through psychological theories applied in practice and those which are under academic debate. Moreover, I can assist you with writing up a professional academic research report and provide guidance on appropriate referencing accordingly to the American Psychological Association (APA) format. In psychology, a key role plays a critical analysis. It is important that you can distinguish between well-developed theories and understand what appears to be working well and what can be questioned. Therefore, writing a professional research report should always focus on critical analysis and that’s something I can help you with. Ideally, I would love our meetings to end up by providing you with some materials which you could do at home at your own time before our next meeting so we could monitor your improvement.
