About Emma
Hello! My name is Emma, I'm a graduate from the Royal College of Music. I have 5 years of private teaching experience in London and also have done many outreach projects in primary schools, including a tour to Norfolk, giving workshops with the Purcell School of Music and the Royal College of Music. I absolutely love teaching violin and piano, whether it is helping a student achieve their goal to be able to play any song they want or helping an advanced student strive towards a higher level for auditions or competitions. Good foundation on both instruments in posture, technique and understanding how to practice is important to me, especially in the early stages. I also concentrate on developing a good sense of sight-reading and include basic music theory skills.
As I am now based in Austria, I am expanding my teaching studio online!

I have a book that I follow - which I will send via pdf when the lesson is set. Alternatively, you are welcome to bring pieces that you want to learn!
