About Lacie
Music exists to be felt rather than merely decoded through dry theory. I teach because building a foundation allows the soul of the instrument to speak clearly through the player. My 9 years of experience allow me to emphasise BOWING TECHNIQUE and shifting positions with a focus on LEFT HAND AGILITY.
Having earned a Master of Music in Music Performance, I guide students to master intonation and posture while keeping the process enjoyable. You will find my approach light, grounded, and consistently encouraging as we work together.

The friction of horsehair against steel produces a vibrant resonance that hums directly through your collarbone. I adjust your rhythm and timing while ensuring you maintain perfect balance through consistent tuning by ear.
Drawing on my training at Trinity Laban Conservatoire, I refine your hold to prevent tension during complex passages. My feedback focuses on small, incremental adjustments that compound into major technical improvements over time.
We will address these physical habits early so that playing feels natural and effortless. This creates the stability needed for you to play with genuine confidence and musicality. You can expect a steady flow of constructive guidance throughout our time together.
