About Christy
Hello! My name is Christy, and I’m passionate about helping students discover the beauty of the Chinese language and culture. I have several years of experience teaching Mandarin to learners of different ages and backgrounds, from complete beginners to more advanced speakers seeking to refine their fluency. My teaching style is student-centred, engaging, and adaptable — I believe that learning a language should be both effective and enjoyable. Whether you’re learning for travel, business, exams, or personal interest, I will tailor each lesson to your goals and learning pace. In my classes, you can expect clear explanations, practical examples, and plenty of opportunities to practise speaking and listening. I also integrate cultural insights to make each lesson more meaningful and memorable. I’m patient, supportive, and genuinely enjoy seeing my students grow in confidence and skill. Learning Chinese can seem challenging at first, but with the right guidance, it can also be one of the most rewarding journeys you’ll ever take. I look forward to helping you achieve your goals — and to making your Chinese learning experience both successful and enjoyable!
