About Butterfly
Hello! I’m Shashikala, an online tutor with over 7 years of experience teaching children in both academic subjects and Christian education. My journey began through children’s ministry, where I discovered my passion for helping young minds grow not only in knowledge but also in values. I specialize in teaching Sinhala, Science, History, and Christianity to children from Grade 1 to Grade 7. As a teacher, I’m known for being patient, creative, and kind. I believe in building a positive learning environment where children feel confident, supported, and excited to learn. I use interactive methods, storytelling, and practical examples to make every lesson engaging and effective. I teach through Google Meet and Microsoft Teams, and I offer individual classes to give each child my full attention. Whether it’s learning the Bible, understanding science, or improving Sinhala, my goal is to help children learn with joy and grow like a butterfly—beautifully, step by step.

Hello! I’m offering online individual classes for children in Grade 1 to Grade 7. I have 7 years of experience teaching kids, especially in church ministry and Christian education. For academic subjects like Science, History, and Sinhala, I use age-appropriate explanations, illustrations, and regular revision games to keep learning fun and meaningful.
