About Ankit
I'm an engineer and MBA graduate with a strong academic pedigree: All India Rank 433 in JEE Mains (top 0.04% of ~1 million+ candidates) and AIR 6372 in JEE Advanced, followed by a B.E. (Hons.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from BITS Pilani and an MBA from IIM Lucknow, one of India's top business schools.
I have 3+ years of experience tutoring students for competitive exams including CAT, IIT JEE Mains, and GMAT, alongside mentoring 1500+ for B-school prep.
I'm an expert in Algebra, Geometry, Calculus, Trigonometry, and Arithmetic, and can support students at the school and college level as well as those preparing for competitive exams like the SAT, ACT, AMC 8/10/12, and GMAT. I bring the same rigor I used to crack some of India's toughest entrance exams into how I teach — breaking problems down to fundamentals, building speed through structured practice, and helping students develop genuine confidence rather than rote memorization.

I teach SAT and ACT Math, AMC 8/10/12, and GMAT quant, and can also support students preparing for CAT (MBA entrance). My approach centers on building strong fundamentals first, then layering on speed and test strategy — the same method that took me to AIR 433 in JEE Mains (top 0.04% nationally) and AIR 6372 in JEE Advanced.
Lessons are structured around the student's current level: a diagnostic assessment, a customized study plan, concept-building sessions, and timed practice under real test conditions. For SAT/ACT, AMC, and GMAT, I cover both the quantitative reasoning and problem-solving strategy needed to hit target scores, alongside pacing and test-day techniques.
Sessions can be one-on-one or in small groups, online or in person, and are tailored whether the goal is a top SAT/ACT or AMC score, or getting into a competitive MBA or graduate program.
