About Ricky
I am a Biomedical Science graduate from Cardiff University, currently doing my Master's in Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine. I have never considered myself as smart, and in school I was not a particularly hard working individual. I have had a rocky academic journey and had to learn to catch up as well as overcome academic issues. I know how it feels to be overwhelmed by content and workload, whilst also being in a stressful stage of life, like applying for university etc. It has been very rewarding to help friends and family that are in a position I was once in, and now I would like to help others.

My lessons are targeted towards students in year 10-13 doing GCSEs or A-levels in Maths, Biology and Chemistry. I have formally been a tutor for a year, but have helped family and friends for years. Lessons are typically 40-60 minutes. I aim to provide a calm and supportive environment to divert from their current school stress. I have a personalised approach looking at students examining boards and tailoring their sessions around this. I also aim to target their weaker topics and break down these complex ideas into small points. I will also help students stay on top of school work (like homework) and can centre lessons around these topics.
