Super tutor

Martin is one of the best tutors in Maths. They have a high-quality profile, verified qualifications, a quick response time, and great reviews from students!

About Martin

I am a biochemistry graduate from Concordia University, an ESL tutor and a former medical student of the University of Rome, Italy. I have been tutoring elementary, high school, and college students for over forty years with great success in Italy, Canada the UK and the mid -East.

About the lesson

I approach the subject with structure and flexibility, trying to adapt to the student's approach and showing him/her alternative ways of tackling the problem. There may be an attempt in re-organizing the student's way of thinking such as getting him to recognize a need to go over some basics first or having him see an approach to a solution more graphically.

Martin helped my daughter immensely when we first moved to Canada. He patiently walked her through everything—from the day-to-day basics she needed to get around town, to the trickier aspects of grammar and writing. He is incredibly experienced and knows exactly how to explain concepts in a way that makes sense to a beginner. Most importantly, he is so patient; he never made her feel nervous about making mistakes. My daughter’s English improved dramatically (she went from barely understanding the language to achieving the highest grade in English in her class in one year) and she now speaks with true confidence. I highly recommend Martin!

Martin and I met on a film set where he worked as an actor. During our intense shoot, he stayed calm and communicated clearly under pressure. He brings that exact focus and patience to his ESL classes. His teaching style is engaging, dynamic, and easy to follow. I strongly recommend Martin because he is professional, kind, and truly dedicated to his students' success.
