About Sara
Hello!
My name is Sara and I am 25 years old.
From the ages of 9 to 12, from 2004 to 2007, I went to an international school in Naples, Italy, where all the subjects were taught in English. This English was more similar to American English than British English. In 2011, I obtained a B2 certification from Ourense’s School of Language. From 2015 to 2016, I went abroad for an exchange year in Nijmegen, the Netherlands, where all the subjects were also taught in English. Some of these subjects required a C1 level, so some of us had to pass this exam too. I have a 10-year-old brother who I help with his English homework whenever I have the chance. I have seen and felt how hard it can be to learn a new language from the ground up, but I believe that anyone can learn any language with the right time and method.

My teaching method would be to follow the subject according to the model in which your school is teaching and deepen it so that you can feel more secure and prepared. I am completely bilingual and I know how difficult it is to learn a language at any age. It is also important, apart from understanding the subject, to be able to feel safe expressing yourself in the language. I will help you understand the bases of verbs and the way in which the language is constructed, in a dynamic way, with exercises of different kinds.I encourage my students to reinforce their learning by reading books in English and watching audiovisual works with audio and subtitles in English, so as to be exposed to ways of speaking that they may not be used to hearing.
