About Olga
When I was a kid I used to stand on a chair in front of the mirror and imitate speaking English. Nobody told me that English language could open the whole new world for me, as it turned out to be true later. I just liked the way it sounded and I studied it on my own in a tiny little village where I'd spent my summer holidays with my grandparents. So that is the way it all began.
I've changed countries, I've learned some other languages and many adventures have happened to me since then…but English is still one of my passions. I've been teaching this language for 25 years so far, 18 out of them in Spain. When my elder kid was 3, he told me that he wanted to learn English and I formed my first 2 groups of kids. That's how and when my school started. 2011. Since then we've been getting bigger and bigger, more students, more families.
I've hardly advertised my English Home School. People have been coming because someone told them about this place. And we've been growing together. My youngest student, Ares, was 1.5 years old when she was brought here, and my eldest inspiring student, Juan Manuel, was 80. My students are different ages, nationalities, religions, likes and dislikes, but 99.9% of they have at least one common thing, they love learning English.
I really enjoy what and how I do it. So maybe it's time to open one more door of my philosophy, methodology of learning & teaching English. Here I am, thrilled to share it with more English lovers. Let's get started!

One of my specialties is group classes for children, adolescents and adults.
What are the advantages of small group classes over a private class? Learning a language in small groups allows:
1. A greater participation in the dynamics of the class and thus their learning is faster
2. It is more fun to learn playing with your friends than to be alone in the class with the teacher
3. You can do many more varied activities and games than with one or two students
4. When sharing the class with classmates there is competition. So the goals that the student will set will be greater than if the class were private.
My teaching philosophy is simple, that students have a good time studying a new language. They see that learning English is fun, useful, easy and possible.
By having smaller groups, the atmosphere is very familiar and relaxing. I adapt to the needs of each student making the class fun and effective using various activities.
We speak English from day one throughout the class. Students who have just started learning English do not understand the meaning word by word, they guess the context and in this way develop very good oral comprehension. The sooner they start studying a foreign language, the less afraid they are of not understanding it, of not knowing how to pronounce a word exactly. Younger children have an innate ability to imitate pronunciation and memorize new words and phrases. The method is to speak to them in English as if it were their mother tongue, offering them activities that entertain, stimulate and motivate them. What I want is for the students to come with enthusiasm and know that they are going to have a good time. This way I have it checked-learn!

Muy recomendable! He hecho un año de clases particulares para aprobar CAE, tenia FCE recién aprobado. Las clases están enfocadas a lo que requiere un examen, y deberes en modo juego, todo muy ameno y eficiente. Le estoy muy agradecida.
