About Lara
I've been tutoring since 2012, when I was still studying bilingual communication in Madrid and had just returned from doing two years abroad (sophomore and junior years) at Hunter College in New York. I have tutored a total of 8 students (two of them took their the First Certificate exams), and others wanted training in basic business English for their everyday labor relations.

In my classes I use conversation as a way to improve student's fluency and grammar use in real life situations, speaking only in English and using audiovisual materials and novels to enhance reading comprehension and use of language. I work on perfecting their accent when speaking, and review those aspects the student has more trouble with.

Details
I live in Madrid's outskirts but I don't mind commuting to the center for teaching. However, my rates need to be higher to accommodate my traveling to and from home.
