About Priyanka

I have been dancing for over 18 years and performed at various stage events from a young age. I started teaching along with my mother 6 years ago and established our dance school and for the past two years we have taught via the online platforms.

About the lesson

Bharatnatyam is structured according to the examinations conducted by the University. It typically takes about 6-7 years to complete the examinations. Bollywood, on the other hand, is energetic and fun-filled and can be learnt one song at a time. I usually assess the ability of the student to grasp the movements and teach accordingly. It can take anywhere between 2 weeks to 4 months to learn a complete Bollywood dance item.

Perfect! Priyanka is a wonderful teacher. She is able to break down sequences into their most simplistic form.
