About Soumya
I am a Baratanatyam performer, teacher, choreographer who has been performing and teaching since many years.
Learning under the tutelage of traditional gurus and seeing their discipline and dedication towards this art made a lot of difference in my own life not just as a dancer but in a wholesome way. About8 years of teaching experience in academic stream, Knowledge in Sanskrit literature has helped me understand this rich art form better.
I have completed my Masters in Bharatanatyam and preparing for PHD.
