About Bernard
I am a professional composer and conductor from Switzerland. I graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2017 from the prestigious Berklee College of Music with a dual major in Film Scoring and Composition and a minor in Conducting. I have been playing the piano for more than 20 years and love improvising in various styles as much as I love playing Beethoven sonatas or pop arrangements.

I always try to adapt my teaching method to my students' needs and learning style. This allows them to get the most out of the lessons while enjoy them. While this is useful to everybody, I found it to be extremely effective with kids. By tailoring a teaching method to their learning style I can almost guarantee they will love the process and will want to learn more every day!
I see the piano as a way to express oneself, this is why I always encourage my students to improvise and experiment at the piano. I also help them analyse and understand the pieces they are playing, giving them more insight into the composer thoughts.
