About Hannah

Empathetic and fluid in communication, I am open to alternative teaching methods adapted for each one. I am also dynamic and enthusiastic.

Coaching in art came out of a desire to inform, help and stimulate those who want to become an artist, but who not necessarily have been well surrounded or encouraged to get started.

I teach in artistic foundations year, art schools and kindergartens on an ad hoc basis, and as a private teacher. I also do sound workshops.

The department in which I am professionally qualified is photography (bac +5). I have learned electronic music on computer by my own.

About the lesson

Art coaching (in French or English)

Follow-up and support in view of artistic school applications (in France and abroad)

Coaching is developed under three essential axes: [ N]

You:
- Set-up and precision of the goals in connection with the schools. Practical realisations by sessions.
- Identification of the strongest traits of your personality, and artistic better qualities in order to constitute a portfolio that looks like you.
- Identify your qualities as weaknesses in order to better value
your assets during tests and to work better on the points to work on.

The portfolio (or book):
- Help and support in the constitution of the artistic portfolio.
- Precision of the portfolio's identity through a guideline that makes sense for you and for the schools.
- Highlight of works with the use of photography (documentation of works being key in a portfolio).
- Learning how to position yourself on your creation and the art world in which it is takes part.
- Help in writing texts which accompagn the works

Schools and their competition (in France and abroad):
- Information and advice on schools, their identity, in order to know them and select them well.
- Help in writing the application letter (to be modulated for each school to compete).
- Training for exams by setting up blank oral examinations (oral test)
- Training for exams through art history and aesthetics questionnaires (written test in art history)
- Training in English oral (often, French school competitions include an English oral test)

The main idea is to get yourself ready as well as possible to the art school applications through individualized, critical and in-depth monitoring. But above all, according to your own personality. It is about highlighting something that sets you special from others, through particularity and originality. In order to reach this stage, specifying your objectives, better understanding your identity, and exercising with information and motivation are the key steps to succeed.

Being a photographer and sound artist today, my artistic journey began by integrating the Prep'Art foundation year in Paris, then Les Gobelins in the photographic section. A Master's degree in arts (specializing in photography, and sound creation) in London at the Royal College of Art opened me up to possibilities of creation abroad and their different educational models.

My willingness to support has taken shape over the years, combining my desire to teach in a personalized way with my passion for arts.

The art world is not easy, and it is a place where you have to know how to show yourself determined, and surrounded by good tools. I am happy to offer coaching for anyone with a motivated desire, for all ages and nationalities (lessons in English). High school student, student, in the process of changing professional life, etc.

Optional courses, to improve specifically into a field:

- Learning the basics of photography in the documentation of works, in order to know how to present your work better (20 euros for 30 min)

- In-depth photography courses (shooting, technic, frame, light, how to build a series, how to learn to develop a unique photographic writing in different stages, editing, photographic retouching, etc.)
(35 euros per hour)

- Introduction course to electronic and / or experimental music on computer with Logic Pro software (35 euros per hour)
