About Leina
I am a passionate violin instructor with 8 years of teaching experience and a Licentiate of Music in Violin. My approach blends the richness of classical tradition with the freedom of creative expression, helping students develop both skill and artistry. I focus on essential techniques such as bowing, vibrato, phrasing, and musical interpretation to bring every piece to life.
My lessons are tailored to each student’s goals, whether they are exploring classical repertoire, contemporary works, or popular music adaptations. I provide thorough support for ABRSM and Trinity exams, ensuring students are confident, prepared, and able to showcase their best performance. In addition, I offer orchestral coaching, helping learners understand ensemble dynamics, listening skills, and collaborative performance techniques.
I emphasize a balance between technical mastery and expressive playing, encouraging students to connect deeply with their music. Sight-reading, music theory, and performance practice are integrated naturally into lessons, so learning is both structured and inspiring. I aim to nurture a love for the violin while guiding students toward steady, meaningful progress.

For students aiming to perform, I focus on stage presence, phrasing, and musical expression. Those preparing for pop, jazz, or vocal collaborations receive support in adapting their violin to different styles, helping them shine in performances and recordings. I encourage improvisation and creativity alongside technique to foster a unique musical voice.
