About Ivy
I am a passionate vocal tutor with six years of experience and a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a Voice emphasis. My teaching approach balances technical precision with creative expression, helping students build strong, confident voices. I work across a variety of genres, from classical and jazz to pop and contemporary styles, adapting lessons to each student’s interests and goals.
Ear training, harmony, improvisation, and music theory are integrated into every session, giving students a deep understanding of how music works while enhancing their performance skills. Lessons are fully customized, focusing on vocal strength, range, and tone quality, while also nurturing expressive interpretation and stage presence. I aim to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel confident to experiment and grow.
My approach helps singers at all levels, from beginners exploring their voice to advanced performers preparing for auditions or stage performances.
