About Siphesihle

I have previously worked at transcription company for less than a year and have had to transcribe, on average about two to three audio hours per day. Our work would always be graded based on accuracy and formatting. In order to retain the job, transcriptions, proofreaders, editors, and even captioners had to maintain an average rating of 90%. This high level rating ensured transcriptionists performed an outstanding job and produce high quality transcripts.
Listening attentively, proofreading, editing for readability, spelling check assessments, researching company titles, and transcribing spoken words as they are are some of the key activities that I performed during my term as transcriber. In conjunction with the language skills I have, especially concerning the English language, I have acquired listening skills through taking such courses that teach or enable us to be active listeners. My listening skills were also enhanced during the period in which I was employed as a transcriptionist.
I am currently a student studying towards an Accounting qualification. However, with the openness of mind I possess, I would most certainly salvage each and every opportunity I get to learn something beyond my chosen discipline.

About the lesson

My teaching method requires active listening from both the student and the teacher. A framework approach of much significance to my teaching mechanism, and standards and conventions do play a role as well. It is a rules based approach to learning, but I do too foster a value based approach to learning, so that our students are able to perform outstandingly.
