About Matthew
I have been the bass trombonist if the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra for 4 years and have played with leading orchestras around the world including the New York City Ballet orchestra, Helsinki Philharmonic, and Verbier Festival orchestra in Switzerland. I have taught beginners all the way up to conservatory level students.

I approach my teaching through three main ideas. The students long term goals, developing a steady work ethic and a passion for music. Everything else comes out if those three things. I strongly encourage students to listen to a lot of music, record themselves and go to live concerts. From this we can motivate ourselves to practice and pursue musical excellence more diligently.
