About Katie
Hello! My name is Katie and I am a Bachelor of Music graduate from Maynooth University.
Music has been a significant part of my life and something I am deeply passionate about.
I have been involved in various choirs from the age of 9, which I have thoroughly enjoyed and gained a lot of knowledge from. I have been a leader in a local choir for the past 5 years in which I teach and prepare members for a wide range of performances.
In college I specialized in Pop & Rock Vocals, which taught me how to become a healthy and confident performer. Alongside this I also achieved my Grade 8 in Musical Theatre which expanded my horizons in relation to vocal health.
I have been playing piano from the age of 8 in which I attended weekly lessons and completed my grades. I am currently doing my Grade 8. Learning piano from such a young age gave me a great foundation in music theory which undoubtedly helped me massively alongside singing for example and music in school/college.
I am extremely passionate to pass on my love and knowledge of music to others and would love to watch students grow into confident performers!
