About Tristan

I am a 22 year old Master's student in RUC University wher my main interest lies around the Political and Social sciences. As a half Spanish and half Danish resident I am fluent in both languages as well as English having learnt through the Cambridge System. I have taught before and therefore have experience in the subject. I have lived in Spain, Belgium, Netherlands and in Denmark meeting a lot of different people with different interests and needs, where I believe myself to be highly adaptable to all kinds of contexts and scenarios.

Teaching Method and Techniques

My teaching method is centered on a student-focused approach that blends interactive and practical activities with structured language instruction. I believe in making learning engaging by using real-life contexts, such as role-playing conversations, analyzing current events, and exploring cultural aspects of the languages. I tailor my techniques to each student’s needs and learning style, incorporating multimedia tools, games, and storytelling to reinforce vocabulary, grammar, and conversational skills.

A Typical Lesson Plan

Warm-up: A quick activity, such as discussing a recent event or a personal experience, to engage the student in the target language.
Objective Introduction: Presenting the day’s goal, such as mastering a grammatical concept or improving pronunciation.
Core Activity: Interactive exercises like dialogue practice, translation tasks, or collaborative writing.
Cultural Component: Introducing a song, video, or short text from a relevant culture to deepen understanding and context.
Wrap-up and Review: Summarizing the key points and discussing how the student can practice outside the lesson.
Homework: Assigning a small task, such as journaling or preparing a presentation, to reinforce learning.

What Sets Me Apart as a Tutor

Being fluent in Danish, Spanish, and English (somewhat Swedish) and having lived in diverse cultural settings, I bring a unique perspective to language teaching.
