About Lauren

I am a triple threat performer and filmmaker with a Bachelor of Performance and a Certificate IV in Musical Theatre. I wrote, directed and produced an award winning US domestic and internationally distributed narrative feature film. I was invited to attend the Female Eye Film Festival in Toronto Canada where I sat on the directors round table. I have experience teaching primary school, high school and young adult students as well as experienced adults.

About the lesson

My approach is very tailored to the individual needs of my students.
-If you have never performed in front of an audience and would like to for personal reasons, I have lessons for you.
-If you have experience and would like to elevate your skills, I have lessons for you.
-If you are a professional actor and require assistance with auditions or a challenging role, I certainly have lessons for you.
There are many forms of acting exercises and techniques, and I adopt any and every that I believe are beneficial to the individual or group. You can feel comfortable in knowing that there are no expectations and I'm here to work at your pace.
I look forward to elevating your performance skills!

My name is Chris Price and I have worked with Lauren as an actor, co-writer, director, choreographer, and live theatre performer. Throughout this time, I have always been impressed by her passion, confidence, and unique perspective. I have watched her mentor young actors and actresses as both costar and director, and I myself have benefited from her technical know-how, and her selfless drive to see a goal achieved. I have no doubt that her students will benefit from the same.

Lauren is incredibly well spoken and carries herself well. In my experience, working under the direction of Lauren has proved most rewarding, she understands how to speak to people and make you feel comfortable in conversation. Lauren used to direct shows in which i participated, and being directed by her was such a refreshing experience, she displays so much tolerance, patience, and grace.
