About Shrutee
I’m an award-winning poet, author of two published books, and a professional writer with years of experience across poetry, storytelling, creative direction, and branded writing. My work has appeared on platforms including Terribly Tiny Tales, Frolic Media, The Alipore Post, and iHeartRadio, and I’ve performed and spoken at literary festivals, spoken word platforms, panels, and creative communities across India. Alongside writing professionally for brands and creative projects, I’m also the founder of a community that uses expressive writing frameworks for emotional wellness and intentional connection. I hold a degree in Advertising, where creative writing, storytelling, and communication formed a core part of my training, and over the years I’ve built an audience online through poetry, essays, and reflective writing that deeply resonates with readers.

My teaching approach blends visual poetry, expressive writing, and emotional observation to help students create work that feels visceral, cinematic, and deeply human. Using reflective prompts, sensory detail, metaphor, memory work, and experimental techniques, I help writers move beyond surface-level writing and learn how to translate feeling into imagery that lingers. Rooted in my “Proof of Feeling” method, the sessions are intuitive, creatively freeing, and designed to help each student discover a voice that feels entirely their own.
