About Hongxi
My own journey with music began when I was four years old, and over the years, the piano has shaped who I am—teaching me discipline, resilience, and joy. These are the same values I hope to pass on to every student I meet. As a teacher, I am both a mentor and a partner. I strive to truly understand each student’s unique strengths and challenges, creating a safe space where they feel encouraged to take risks and grow. My goal isn’t only to help you play beautifully, but also to help you gain confidence, perseverance, and a deeper love for music—skills that will benefit you far beyond the piano. For me, teaching is a way to share my passion and to walk alongside students as they discover their own voice, both musically and personally.

My lessons are personalized and goal-oriented, carefully designed to meet the unique needs of each student. Whether you’re a beginner learning the basics, an intermediate player looking to strengthen your technique, or an advanced student preparing for competitions and auditions, I provide a supportive and inspiring environment to help you grow and thrive.
I believe learning piano is about more than just playing an instrument—it’s a journey that builds discipline, perseverance, and self-confidence. My teaching blends technical training, musical expression, and personal growth, empowering students to discover and develop their own unique musical voice.
