About Aarya
I’m a painter and photographer with years of artistic experience and a passion for helping others develop their creative skills. I’ve received multiple Scholastic Art & Writing Awards in painting and photography, including a Gold Key in photography. In 2026, my painting was exhibited at the BMM Art Gallery in Seattle, where I was the youngest artist selected and the only representative from Austin.
I’ve also worked as an art camp counselor for two summers, helping children explore different artistic techniques and creative projects. Through my own artistic practice and teaching experience, I’ve developed a strong appreciation for both technical skills and individual creative expression. I’m excited to help students build their confidence, explore new techniques, and discover their own artistic style.

My lessons are designed for beginners who want to learn painting or photography in a relaxed, supportive environment. Each lesson is personalized to the student’s interests, experience, and goals.
In painting lessons, we’ll practice color mixing, shading, brushwork, and composition while working toward creating original artwork. In photography lessons, we’ll explore composition, lighting, framing, and camera settings to help students take more thoughtful, visually engaging photos. Lessons combine demonstrations, guided practice, and constructive feedback so students can apply what they learn.
As an artist and photographer with experience exhibiting my work and teaching children at art camps, I want to help students build technical skills while developing their own creative voice.

Lessons are offered online in English and are designed for beginners. Photography students should have access to a digital camera, preferably a DSLR or mirrorless camera. We’ll focus on composition, lighting, exposure, camera settings, and developing a stronger understanding of photography. Painting students should have their own basic art supplies. Lessons can be tailored to each student’s interests, skill level, and creative goals.
