About Shems
I am a jazz musician having graduated from a Master of Art, from the Haute Ecole de Musique Jazz de Lausanne, at 22 years old. I have received various awards such as the Cully Jazz Festival, ZKB Jazzpreis, Grand Prix of the Avignon Jazz Festival. My first album appeared in most Jazz magazines in France and in the Swiss French press (Le Temps, Tribune de Genève ..) My group has already toured in Switzerland, France, Italy and England.

I teach musical improvisation in all its dimensions: - Learning harmony, scales and modes - Solo transcription - How to learn a song - Development of rhythm and "Time" - Development of Sound - Development of music ear I am also fond of a concept called "Improvisation games". An exercise that allows you to work effectively while developing your musical creativity.
