I first met him in a temple in Berlin, Germany. Since I’m a singer, we connected naturally. I’ve also performed in temples with him playing mrdangam. Practicing and performing with him was an opportunity for me that helped in improving my singing skills. I’ve attended concerts where he played with one of the renowned scholars, Maanikkam Yogeswaran. In addition to mrdangam, he also plays cajón. With experience performing alongside artists from many genres, he can teach how to stay in sync with singers and other instrumentalists across different musical styles.
