About Nikhil
I am an Assistant Professor with a PhD in Electrical Engineering, with university teaching and research experience. I specialize in Power Electronics, Electrical Machines, Renewable Energy, Electric Vehicles, Power Quality, Electrical Drives, and MATLAB/Simulink.
My teaching is concept-based, practical, and personalized. I explain complex topics in a simple way, use real-world examples, and solve numerical problems step-by-step.
I believe in creating a friendly environment where students can ask questions freely. My goal is to help students understand concepts deeply, improve their problem-solving skills, and gain confidence in Electrical Engineering.

My teaching approach is based on clear concepts, practical understanding, and personalised learning. I believe electrical engineering becomes much easier when students understand the “why” behind a concept instead of simply memorising formulas.
I begin each class by understanding the student's current knowledge level and learning objective. I then explain the topic step-by-step using simple explanations, circuit diagrams, mathematical derivations, practical examples, and real-world applications. Numerical problems are solved systematically so that students learn both the concept and the problem-solving approach.
A typical class includes:
• Quick revision of the previous topic
• Introduction and explanation of the new concept
• Step-by-step numerical/problem solving
• Practical applications and examples
• Interactive discussion and doubt clarification
• Short recap and practice questions
My special strength is connecting theory with practical engineering applications. Wherever relevant, I use MATLAB/Simulink and engineering examples to make advanced concepts easier to visualise and understand.
The classes are primarily intended for Diploma, (concealed information) and M.Tech students in electrical engineering and related disciplines. I also provide guidance for students working on MATLAB/Simulink projects, academic projects, examinations, and research-orientated topics.
My goal is to create a comfortable learning environment where students can ask questions freely, strengthen their fundamentals, and gradually become confident in solving electrical engineering problems independently.
