About Cailan
I originally thought I'd be starting a career in mathematics, but as my time went on in college, I realized that although I was good at it, it wasn't my passion. Learning languages, however, is both something I'm good at and something I love doing! So here I am now, still working towards my ultimate goal of becoming a translator and hoping to help out students in the meantime. I'm an avid, everyday student of Spanish and have an arsenal full of different methods I can use depending on the individuals I'm tutoring. With daily practice, I'm even getting better at rolling my R's!

I've got a student's perspective, and I believe I can explain any concept in layman's terms. I can work with all types of learning styles and hope to demonstrate my favorite techniques and exercises that I've experienced from my own time studying Spanish, including in an immersion program in Mexico!
I can tutor up to my level, which should cover all high school Spanish and up to upper-intermediate in college. Using the CEFR scale, I can tutor A1, A2, B1, and B2.
Lessons will be personalized! We'll work on your weaknesses and discuss your learning styles and what types of activities help you to learn best. I can suggest various types of homework and extra practice to keep you going outside of your time with me!
