I'm an art lover and I've been drawing and painting since I can remember, I studied Industrial design at the University of Johannesburg. I had an amazing art and design mentor and I would like to pay it forward. I assisted my mentor with teaching high school art technique workshops

About the lesson

I enjoy teaching by example and I feel like that is the best way to learn new techniques, by following and learning by doing. When art theory is applied in each artwork, it becomes second nature and the theoretical thinking behind compositions and colour, for example, can be taught while we do an artwork.
