About Marie
Being a professional Art teacher for 30+ years, I share technical skills with my students in Art areas of their choosing: Drawing, Painting, Printmaking, and Clay. With extensive skill level in these Art areas, I bring knowledge of different developmental abilities of students in a caring and patient manner. My goal is to inspire my students, help them improve their artistic technical skills, and gain confidence in their artistic abilities.

Greetings! I have been a full-time teacher in the Visual Arts for 30+ years. I have a Master's degree in Art Education. In June 2025, my retirement is from 25 years teaching Art classes in the public schools full-time. I have experience teaching students from K through 12th grade. I have taught Art to adults in a museum setting. I will teach Art to students in: Drawing, Painting; Printmaking; and Clay (Ceramic Arts - Hand building in Clay and Pottery Wheel Throwing because I have a pottery studio and have sold my clay work professionally).
