About Anthony
Does it ever feel like the language you learn in a classroom vanishes the moment you step onto a plane? I believe that language is a performance, which is why I incorporate recorded listening drills for daily practice. As a Diploma of Music holder, I pay extra attention to your accent and intonation to help you achieve natural flow. My lessons cater to conversation-focused learners by emphasizing the difference between Latin American and Castilian variants.
We bridge the gap between basic vocabulary building and high-level comprehension using idioms and expressions. I tailor our time together to ensure you can navigate real-world travel scenarios with total ease. These recordings provide the repetition you need to internalize the sounds of the language. Just listen to the audio files during your commute and we will discuss them during our next session.

Honestly, teaching Spanish is less about grammar charts and more about finding the rhythm in a new way of thinking. I tend to think that the language lives in the melody of your speech patterns rather than just in the textbooks.
Having taught 409 students, I have seen how quickly people from diverse backgrounds pick up the cadence of Latin American Spanish. My life in Australia after moving from Santiago gives me a unique perspective on how to teach cultural context alongside verb conjugation.
I work with advanced learners and those preparing for the DELE exam to ensure they sound authentic. My teaching character is shaped by my 13 years of performing music in Spanish. It is just about connecting with the language in a way that feels organic.
