About Jace
I have 8 years of experience teaching architecture and hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture. My teaching philosophy emphasizes nurturing creativity, technical skills, and critical thinking simultaneously. I aim to provide lessons that are structured yet flexible, giving students room to explore ideas while developing professional-level competence.
I tailor instruction to each learner, combining visual demonstrations, conceptual discussions, hands-on exercises, and design projects. I encourage experimentation, independent thought, and reflection, helping students integrate both creative and technical aspects of architecture.
Teaching architecture is deeply fulfilling because I see students evolve from tentative beginners to confident creators, able to conceptualize and execute complex designs. Students develop spatial awareness, analytical reasoning, and expressive capability while gaining confidence in their own creative vision. My goal is to equip learners with the skills, knowledge, and self-assurance needed to thrive academically or professionally in architecture, fostering both technical precision and innovative thinking that will support them throughout their careers and personal growth.

My architecture lessons are designed to inspire creativity, strengthen design skills, and enhance spatial reasoning. I cover conceptual design, model-making, material understanding, spatial planning, drafting, and portfolio development. Lessons balance theory and hands-on practice, enabling students to develop both imagination and technical accuracy. I provide guidance in visual expression, critical evaluation, and the translation of ideas into functional, aesthetically pleasing spaces. Each session is interactive, encouraging learners to experiment, analyze, and refine their designs with constructive feedback and mentorship.
I adapt lessons for different skill levels. Beginners explore basic drawing, form development, and understanding spatial proportions. Intermediate learners engage with advanced sketching, 3D modeling, conceptual design exercises, and presentation techniques. Advanced learners focus on professional project development, portfolio assembly, architectural analysis, sustainability considerations, and complex design solutions. Every lesson combines guidance, critique, and hands-on projects to enhance both skill and confidence.
The ultimate aim of my architecture lessons is to cultivate students who are confident, thoughtful, and capable of translating creative ideas into tangible design outcomes. Students develop analytical thinking, aesthetic sensibility, technical accuracy, and problem-solving abilities, enabling them to approach architectural challenges with skill and creativity. By combining conceptual understanding, practical application, and iterative feedback, learners gain independence and resilience in design. They learn to express ideas visually, solve complex spatial problems, and produce innovative solutions that reflect both personal style and professional standards. My goal is to empower students to grow into imaginative, capable designers ready to pursue higher education or professional practice in architecture.
