About Cory
My journey in architecture began with a fascination for spaces, structures, and human interactions with the built environment. I earned a B.Arch in Interior Design and an M.Arch in Sustainable Architecture, equipping me with knowledge of functional, aesthetic, and eco-conscious design principles. Over 10 years, I have guided students through creative development, technical mastery, and independent thinking, fostering both skill and self-confidence.
I teach architecture by combining hands-on exercises, conceptual discussions, and iterative critiques. Many learners struggle with translating ideas into practical solutions, so I provide structured guidance, visual examples, and stepwise feedback to build clarity, skill, and confidence. Lessons are customized to each student’s objectives, pace, and style, supporting academic excellence, portfolio preparation, and professional readiness.
Beyond teaching, I stay connected with architecture through research, sustainability studies, urban planning, and conceptual design exploration. Teaching architecture is deeply fulfilling because I witness students develop original ideas, practical solutions, and confidence in their creative abilities. Supporting learners in becoming thoughtful, capable, and innovative designers is one of the most rewarding aspects of my career.

Architecture comes alive when students learn to transform abstract ideas into functional, beautiful, and socially responsible spaces. My lessons cover conceptual design, spatial reasoning, sustainable planning, material understanding, model-making, and architectural drawing. I emphasize creativity, technical accuracy, and problem-solving, guiding students to explore ideas while grounding them in practical feasibility. Lessons incorporate iterative design exercises, sketching, 3D modeling, case studies, and critical discussions, helping learners develop confidence, aesthetic sensitivity, and clarity in expressing their architectural vision.
Advanced learners engage with urban design, adaptive reuse projects, environmental impact assessment, portfolio development, and design presentation skills. Lessons are tailored to encourage independent thought, professional practice readiness, and mastery of design logic. I provide detailed guidance, constructive feedback, and applied exercises to strengthen both conceptual innovation and technical expertise. Each session fosters critical thinking, aesthetic judgment, and sustainable design awareness, ensuring students build strong capabilities as emerging architects.
Architecture instruction also develops observational skills, creative reasoning, and communication ability.
