About Conrad
My journey into architecture began with a fascination for how built environments influence human experience. This interest led me to pursue a B.Arch in Architectural Studies, where I developed strong skills in design theory, spatial analysis, and visual communication. Over 8 years of teaching, I have helped students translate abstract ideas into clear architectural concepts through calm, structured guidance. I approach teaching with openness and adaptability, understanding that creativity flourishes best in a supportive environment. I focus on helping students understand why design decisions work, encouraging independent thinking and confidence rather than imitation. Outside teaching, I remain engaged with architecture through design research, sustainability studies, and conceptual sketching. These activities enrich my lessons and connect theory with real-world practice. Teaching architecture is rewarding because I see students discover their creative voice and grow into thoughtful, confident designers.

Architecture lessons help students understand how ideas become meaningful, functional spaces. I guide learners through design fundamentals such as form, proportion, scale, circulation, and spatial hierarchy, helping them see architecture as a balance between creativity and structure. Lessons encourage observation, conceptual thinking, and clarity of expression, allowing students to explore ideas confidently while understanding professional design logic.
Lesson structure adapts to each learner’s level. Beginners focus on sketching basics, visual proportion, simple compositions, and idea generation. Intermediate learners work on concept development, site analysis, material understanding, and spatial reasoning. Advanced learners refine design narratives, presentation techniques, portfolio development, and project organization. Each lesson emphasizes steady progress without overwhelming the student.
Architecture lessons also support personal growth by strengthening creativity, patience, and communication. Students learn to articulate ideas visually and verbally, developing confidence in expressing complex thoughts. Many become more observant and reflective in everyday environments. My goal is to help learners build a strong creative foundation supported by disciplined thinking and professional awareness.
