About Wael
My name is Wael Salah Abdelkareem Ali, and I am a professional Arabic singer, oud player, and music educator based in Dubai. Music has been my passion and profession for more than 10 years, and throughout my journey I have taught students from different ages, nationalities, and musical backgrounds across the Gulf region.
I currently work as an Arabic Singing and Oud Instructor at the Institute of Arabic Music in Dubai, where I help students discover the beauty of authentic Arabic music in a practical, inspiring, and enjoyable way.
I founded Rouh Dubai Choir to promote Arabic musical heritage and connect cultures through music. I strongly believe that music is not only about technique, but also about expression, confidence, emotion, and identity.
My goal as a teacher is to make Arabic music accessible and enjoyable for everyone, whether you are a complete beginner, an aspiring performer, or someone who simply loves Arabic culture and music.

I believe that learning Arabic music should be both enjoyable and deeply expressive. My teaching approach combines traditional Arabic music foundations with modern and practical teaching methods suitable for today’s students.
In my lessons, students learn Arabic singing techniques, oud performance, maqamat, ear training, rhythm, breath control, improvisation, and stage confidence step by step in a clear and inspiring way. I adapt every lesson according to the student’s age, level, goals, and musical background.
Lessons are usually 45 to 60 minutes long and are available for children, teenagers, adults, beginners, intermediate students, and professional musicians who want to improve their Arabic music skills.
I am a professional Arabic singer, oud player, and music educator with more than 10 years of experience across the Gulf region. I currently work as an Arabic Singing and Oud Instructor at the Institute of Arabic Music in Dubai and have experience teaching students from many different nationalities and cultural backgrounds.
My goal is not only to teach songs, but to help students truly understand the beauty and spirit of Arabic music.
