About Arturo
I'm Arturo Ortega, a native Spanish speaker from Mexico with a strong background in language education. I hold a Bachelor's degree in English Teaching from UNAM and I’m currently completing a Master’s in Bilingualism Studies at the University of Ottawa. I’ve had the opportunity to teach Spanish at the university level, as well as English and Spanish to children, teenagers, and adults in various settings. Me apasiona la enseñanza de idiomas y disfruto ver cómo mis estudiantes ganan confianza al comunicarse en una nueva lengua. I’m known for being patient, clear, and adaptable – I always aim to create a welcoming environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and growing from them.
